Account & Data Deletion

Wandrly is a local-first app and does not create a separate Wandrly account. If you enable Google Drive backup, you sign in with your Google account to back up and restore your data.
Delete your Wandrly data on your device
- Delete diaries and memories in the app (you can remove individual items).
- To remove all locally stored Wandrly data at once, uninstall the app from your device.
Delete your Google Drive backups (optional)
If you enabled Google Drive backup, your backups are stored in your
Google Drive appDataFolder (hidden app folder). You can
delete them from within the app.
- Open Wandrly → Settings → Backup → Google Drive.
- Delete the backup files you no longer want to keep.
- Optional: Sign out from Google Drive backup inside the app.
Revoke Wandrly’s Google access (optional)
If you want to revoke Google Drive access, you can remove Wandrly from your Google account’s third-party access list.
- Visit Google Account → Third-party access and remove Wandrly (if listed).
What gets deleted / what may remain
- Local content (diaries, memories, photos you added) is deleted when you delete it in the app or uninstall.
- Google Drive backups are deleted when you remove them in the app.
- Analytics (if enabled) may be retained by Google in aggregated or device-level form according to Firebase/Google policies.
